สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบูดาเปสต์ จัดงานประชาสัมพันธ์ประเทศไทย

ในโอกาสเทศกาลสงกรานต์ ณ กรุงซาเกรบ ประเทศโครเอเชีย

เมื่อคืนวันที่ 13 เมษายน 2553 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบูดาเปสต์ ร่วมกับ โรงแรม Regent Esplanade (โรงแรมระดับห้าดาวที่มีชื่อเสียงและเก่าแก่ที่สุดของซาเกรบ) กรุงซาเกรบ ประเทศโครเอเชีย ได้จัดงาน “Thai Night in Zagreb” ณ ห้องอาหาร Zinfandel ของโรงแรมฯ เพื่อส่งเสริมภาพลักษณ์ประเทศไทยแก่ชาวโครเอเชียและชาวต่างชาติที่พักอาศัยในโครเอเชีย

Theme ของการจัดงาน คืองานฉลองเทศกาลสงกรานต์หรือวันปีใหม่ไทย โดยมีกิจกรรมการจำหน่ายอาหารไทยต้นตำรับที่ปรุงโดยแม่ครัวของทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูตฯ และการแสดงนาฏศิลป์ไทย รวมทั้ง แจกของชำร่วยผลิตในประเทศไทยตลอดจน การประชาสัมพันธ์ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับการท่องเที่ยวไทย ตามที่ได้รับความอนุเคราะห์เอกสารจากสำนักงานการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย ณ นครแฟรงค์เฟริ์ต

ผลของการจัดงาน Thai Night in Zagreb ประสบความสำเร็จอย่างดี มีผู้เข้าร่วมงานเต็มจำนวนที่นั่ง    ทั้งเจ้าหน้าที่ระดับสูงและนักธุรกิจชาวโครเอเชีย ทูตานุทูต และชาวต่างชาติที่พักอาศัยในกรุงซาเกรบ จำนวนประมาณ  100 คน นอกจากนี้ การจัดงานยังได้รับความสนใจจากสื่อท้องถิ่นขอสัมภาษณ์แม่ครัวเกี่ยวกับวิธีประกอบอาหารและสูตรการทำอาหารเพื่อลงเผยแพร่ในบทความพิเศษเกี่ยวกับอาหารไทยอีกด้วย

 

The Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest hosted Thailand promotion event

to commemorate Songkran Festival in Zagreb, Croatia

On the night of 13 April 2010, the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest and the Regent Esplanade Hotel (the oldest and most prestigious hotel in Zagreb) jointly organised “Thai Night in Zagreb” at the hotel’s Zinfandel restaurant to promote Thailand’s image to local residents and foreign expatriates in Croatia.

The theme of the event was the celebration of Songkran, a traditional Thai New Year. Activities of the night include authentic Thai dinner buffet prepared by chefs of the Ambassador’s Residence, cultural performances by Thai dancers, Thai souvenirs give away, as well as promotion of Thai tourism from materials supplied from the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s Frankfurt Office.

The Thai Night in Zagreb was highly successful with full-capacity attendants of about 100 persons including senior Croatian officials and business proprietors as well as members of the diplomatic corps and expatriate community in Zagreb. Furthermore, the event also attracted attention of some local media who sought interviews with the Thai chefs about recipe and cooking methods to be publicised in special articles on Thai food.
