ปลัดกระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์นำคณะผู้แทนไทยเข้าร่วมการประชุมคณะทำงานด้านการเกษตร ครั้งที่ 3 กับคณะผู้แทนฮังการี ระหว่าง 3-6 กุมภาพันธ์ 2553 ณ กรุงบูดาเปสต์
นายยุคล ลิ้มแหลมทอง ปลัดกระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์ ได้นำคณะผู้แทนไทยจากหลายหน่วยงานของกระทรวงเกษตรฯ เข้าร่วมการประชุมคณะทำงานด้านการเกษตรไทย-ฮังการี ครั้งที่ 3 ระหว่างวันที่ 3-6 กุมภาพันธ์ 2553 กับคณะผู้แทนฮังการี นำโดย Dr. Miklós Süth รองปลัดกระทรวงเกษตรและพัฒนาชนบท ภายใต้กรอบความร่วมมือตามความตกลง ลงวันที่ 4 กรกฎาคม 2543 ว่าด้วยความร่วมมือด้านการเกษตรระหว่างสองประเทศ ที่ประชุมคณะทำงานฯ เห็นชอบร่วมกันให้เพิ่มจำนวนกิจกรรมความร่วมมือให้มากขึ้นกว่าเดิม 2 เท่า ครอบคลุมทั้งด้านเกษตรกรรม ประมง ปศุสัตว์ และชลประทาน
นอกจากหัวหน้าคณะผู้แทนฮังการีได้จัดเลี้ยงคณะผู้แทนไทยด้วยอาหารพื้นเมืองแล้ว ยังได้จัดให้คณะฯ เข้าเยี่ยมชมหน่วยงานวิชาการท้องถิ่น ประกอบด้วย สถาบันวิจัยปศุสัตว์ (ATK) และสถาบันวิจัยประมง สัตว์น้ำ และชลประทาน (HAKI) ของฮังการี ตลอดจน สถานที่สำคัญต่างๆ อาทิเช่น รัฐสภา อีกด้วย
ในการนี้ เมื่อวันที่ 5 กุมภาพันธ์ 2553 เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบูดาเปสต์ นายกาญจน์ ชีรานนท์ ได้เป็นเจ้าภาพเลี้ยงอาหารค่ำเพื่อเป็นเกียรติแก่คณะผู้แทนไทยและคณะผู้แทนฮังการี ที่ทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูต โดยมี Dr. László Vajda อธิบดีกรม EU Coordination and International Affairs กระทรวงเกษตรฯ ฮังการี และ Prof. Dr. József Rátky ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันวิจัย ATK เป็นผู้แทนฝ่ายฮังการี เข้าร่วมงานด้วย
A Thai agricultural delegation led by Mr. Yukol Limlamthong, Permanent Secretary of Agriculture and Cooperatives, visited Hungary during 3-6 February 2010 to participate in the 3rd Joint Thailand-Hungary Agricultural Working Group Meeting with Hungarian counterpart, led by Dr. Miklós Süth, State Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development of Hungary. This Meeting, which was held under the framework of Agricultural Cooperation Agreement between Thailand and Hungary (dated 4 July 2000), resulted in an agreement to double the number of existing cooperation projects covering such areas as agriculture, fisheries, livestock and irrigation.
Apart from entertaining the Thai delegation with local Hungarian cuisine, the Head of Hungarian delegation had also arranged for the study visits of the Hungarian Research Institute for Animal Breeding and Nutrition (ATK), Research Institute for Fisheries, Aquaculture and Irrigation (HAKI) as well as tour of other important places such as the Hungarian Parliament.
In this connection, H.E. Mr. Karn Chiranond, Ambassador of Thailand hosted a dinner in honour of the Thai delegation and its Hungarian counterpart at the Ambassadors Residence on 5 February 2010. Representatives from the Hungarian side include Dr. László Vajda, Director General of the EU coordination and International Affairs Department, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Hungary and Prof. Dr. József Rátky, Director of ATK.
