เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบูดาเปสต์ เข้าอำลาประธานาธิบดีฮังการีในโอกาสพ้นหน้าที่

เมื่อวันที่ 27 กันยายน 2553 เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงบูดาเปสต์ กาญจน์ ชีรานนท์ ได้เข้าอำลา H.E. Dr. Pál Schmitt ประธานาธิบดีฮังการี ในโอกาสพ้นหน้าที่ ที่ทำเนียบประธานาธิบดี พระราชวัง Sandor กรุงบูดาเปสต์ ทั้งนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ และประธานาธิบดีฮังการีได้หารือแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นอย่างกว้างขวางถึงความสัมพันธ์ของประเทศทั้งสอง โดยเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้กล่าวอวยพรในนามรัฐบาลไทยขอให้ฮังการีประสบความสำเร็จในการปฏิบัติหน้าที่ในฐานะประธานสหภาพยุโรปในช่วงครึ่งแรกของปี 2554

ต่อมา เมื่อวันที่ 28 กันยายน 2553 เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้เข้าอำลา Mr. Istvan Jakab รองประธานรัฐสภาฮังการี ณ ที่ทำการรัฐสภา โดยเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้แสดงความขอบคุณในนามของรัฐสภาไทยสำหรับความร่วมมือและการสนับสนุนของรัฐสภาฮังการีในการจัดส่งคณะผู้แทนรัฐสภาระดับสูง ซึ่งประกอบด้วยผู้แทนของพรรคการเมืองต่างๆ เข้าร่วมการประชุมสมัชชาสหภาพรัฐสภา ครั้งที่ 122 ที่กรุงเทพฯ เมื่อช่วงต้นปีที่ผ่านมา พร้อมทั้ง แสดงความพร้อมของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ที่จะให้การสนับสนุนเรื่องการประสานงานระหว่างรัฐสภาทั้งสองต่อไป

ในโอกาสนี้ เมื่อค่ำวันที่ 27 กันยายน 2553 เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงานเลี้ยงอำลาในโอกาสพ้นหน้าที่ ที่ทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูตฯ โดยมีคณะทูตานุทูต นำโดย H.E. Archbishop Juliusz Janusz คณบดีคณะทูต เอกอัครราชทูต และอุปทูตหลายประเทศ   เจ้าหน้าที่ระดับสูงของกระทรวงการต่างประเทศฮังการี อาทิ อธิบดีกรมเอเชีย-แปซิฟิก และว่าที่เอกอัครราชทูตฮังการีประจำประเทศไทยคนใหม่ นักการเมืองฮังการี รวมทั้ง บุคคลระดับสูงของฮังการี เข้าร่วมงานประมาณ 80 คน

 

Thai Ambassador to Hungary paid a courtesy call on the President of Hungary to bid farewell

On 27 September 2010, H.E. Mr. Karn Chiranond, Ambassador of Thailand, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Dr. Pál Schmitt, President of Hungary, to bid farewell upon the completion of his ambassadorship at Sandor Palace, Budapest. In this connection, the Ambassador discussed with the Hungarian President wide range of issues regarding Thailand-Hungary relations and expressed, on behalf of the Government of Thailand, best wishes to Hungary for all the success for the upcoming Chairmanship of the EU presidency during the first half of 2011.

Later on 28 September 2010, the Thai Ambassador paid a courtesy call on Mr. Istvan Jakab, Deputy Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly at the Hungarian Parliament to bid farewell. The Ambassador expressed, on behalf of the Thai Parliament, sincere appreciation for the support and cooperation of the Hungarian Parliament for sending a senior level delegation, comprising of members of various political parties of Hungary, to attend the 122nd Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly held in Bangkok earlier this year. The Ambassador also reaffirmed the readiness of the Royal Thai Embassy to provide any necessary support to further strengthen the cooperation between our two parliaments

In this connection, on 27 September 2010, the Ambassador also hosted a farewell reception at the Ambassador’s Residence which was attended by about 80 persons including members of the Diplomatic Corps, led by H.E. Archbishop Juliusz Janusz, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, Ambassadors and Charge d’ affaires of many countries; senior officials of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, such as Director-General of Asia-Pacific and the new Hungarian Ambassador-Designate to Thailand; Hungarian politicians as well as other important persons of Hungary.
