ยื่นพระราชสาส์นตราตั้งต่อประธานาธิบดีสาธารณรัฐโครเอเชีย
เมื่อวันที่ 25 สิงหาคม 2553 นายกาญจน์ ชีรานนท์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงซาเกรบ ได้เข้ายื่นพระราชสาส์นตราตั้ง เป็นเอกอัครราชทูตวิสามัญผู้มีอำนาจเต็มแห่งราชอาณาจักรไทยประจำสาธารณรัฐโครเอเชีย ถิ่นพำนัก ณ กรุงบูดาเปสต์ ต่อ ฯพณฯ Prof. Dr. Ivo Josipovic ประธานาธิบดีแห่งสาธารณรัฐโครเอเชีย ณ ทำเนียบประธานาธิบดี กรุงซาเกรบ
ในโอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะและแนะนำตัวต่อ ฯพณฯ Mr. Gordan Jandrokovic รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ รวมทั้ง เจ้าหน้าที่ระดับสูงของกระทรวงการต่างประเทศโครเอเชีย อาทิ Mr. Davor Bozinovic รองปลัดกระทรวงฯ และ Mrs. Andrea Javor อธิบดีกรมทวิภาคี ในโอกาสที่เข้ารับตำแหน่งที่กระทรวงการต่างประเทศฯ โดยได้มีการหารือแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นอย่างกว้างขวางถึงแนวทางส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ของประเทศทั้งสองให้เจริญงอกงามยิ่งขึ้น
The Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Croatia, resident in Budapest
presented the Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of Croatia
On 25 August 2010, H.E. Mr. Karn Chiranond presented the Letters of Credence to H.E. Prof. Dr. Ivo Josipovic, President of the Republic of Croatia, accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Croatia, resident in Budapest, at the Office of the President in Zagreb.
In this occasion, H.E. Mr. Chiranond, paid courtesy calls on H.E. Mr. Gordan Jandrokovic, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Croatia, and senior Ministrys officials such as Mr. Davor Bozinovic, State Secretary for Political Affairs, and Mrs. Andrea Javor, Director-General for Extra European Bilateral Cooperation, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Zagreb. The Ambassador and his Croatian counterparts discussed wide range of issues as well as ways and means to promote Thailand-Croatia relations.
