On 2 June 2026, H.E. Mr. Phrommes Bhaholpolbhayuhasena, Ambassador of Thailand to Hungary, presided over a Buddhist ceremony to make merit on the occasion of the Celebrations on the Auspicious Occasion of Her Majesty the Queen’s 4th Cycle Birthday Anniversary, 3 June 2026, at the chancery of the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest. Mrs. Vanida Bhaholpolbhayuhasena, spouse of the Ambassador, together with Embassy officials and staff, members of Team Thailand, and their spouses, also attended the ceremonies.

During the ceremony, the Ambassador led participants in paying homage to Her Majesty the Queen by presenting floral and incense offerings before Her Majesty’s portrait, formally expressing allegiance, lighting the ceremonial candle of homage, and signing the book of well-wishes.
