During 10 -11 September 2015 Mr. Norachit Sinhaseni, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs lead a delegation from Thailand to participate in the 2^nd Thai – Hungarian Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation in Budapest.

               During the meeting, both sides agreed to increase cooperation between Thailand and Hungary in trade, investment, technical cooperation as well as encourage more people –to-people contacts. The Hungarian delegation, headed by Mr. Levente Magyar, Minister of State for Economic Diplomacy, reiterated that Thailand was an important partner for Hungary in ASEAN, and suggested that both sides should encourage more interaction between the private sector of both sides.

               An Agreement between the Thai and Hungarian Chambers of Commerce was also concluded during the meeting, which was held in a very warm and friendly atmosphere.
