| A. Non-Immigrant ED Visa |
1. Purpose of Visit: This type of visa is issued to applicants who wish to enter Thailand for the following purposes:
1. Full-time education in a curriculum below the Bachelor's Degree level;
2. Participation in short training courses or student exchange programmes;
3. Internship or curricular training.
2. Non-Immigrant Visa ED conditions:
1. Non-Immigrant ED Visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. Non-Immigrant ED Visa holder will be allowed to stay up to 90 days from the date of entry.
2. During the 90-day stay, if Non-Immigrant ED Visa holder wishes to leave and re-enter Thailand, he/she is required to apply for a re-entry permit from the Office of Immigration Bureau. Extension of stay is solely at the discretion of the Immigration officer (http://www.immigration.go.th).
3. Application fee: 70 euro (non-refundable).
| B. Non-Immigrant ED PLUS Visa |
1. Purpose of Visit: This type of visa is issued to applicants who must be enrolled in a full-time higher education program (Bachelor's degree or higher) and will receive a degree upon graduation.
2. Non-Immigrant ED Plus Visa conditions:
1. Non-Immigrant ED Plus Visa allows holders to extend their stay in Thailand for 1 year after graduation, to seek employment, travel or take part in other activities, and are eligible to change the type of visa in Thailand if employed.
2. Non-Immigrant ED Plus Visa is issued to international students pursuing a degree at the bachelor's level or higher at a higher education institution in Thailand.
3. Students are exempt from the requirement to apply for a re-entry permit when leaving and returning to Thailand during their course of study.
4. If an extension of stay is required, the host higher education institution will submit the extension application on behalf of the student.
3. Required Documents:
1. Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months.
2. One completed Visa application form.
3. Two photographs (size 3.5x4.5 cm) not less than 6 months.
4. Evidence of adequate finance: a bank statement in the past 6 months, showing the minimum fund of THB 20,000/person
5. Documents from school, university or institution as followed:

• Letter of acceptance from the concerned government school or university • Recommendation letter from government school, university or institution addressed to the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest Remarks: Copies of school, university or institution’s documents must be signed by the authorised director and affixed seal of the school, university or institution on all pages. |
| 5.2 Applicants wish to study in a private institution: |

1. Letter from the Ministry of Education of Thailand, or other designated authorities concerned, approving the enrolment of foreign student, and a copy of registration certificate of the concerned academic institute 2. Acceptance letter from the concerned academic institute/organisation/company 3. School/institute’s documents as follows: • Recommendation letter addressed to the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest • Student ID card (if currently studying at the academic institute) and academic record • List of shareholders • School profile Remarks: Copies of private institution’s documents must be signed by the authorised director and affixed seal of the private institution on all pages. |

| 5.4 Applicants wish to attend seminar, training session, or do an internship |

1. Letter of acceptance from concerned organisation or company addressed to the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest 2. Corporate documents of company in Thailand: • Invitation letter from company in Thailand • Business registration and business license • List of shareholders • Company profile • Balance sheet, statement of income • Taxes requirements: Por Por 20 (VAT), Por Por 30 (monthly) and Por Ngor Dor 50 (yearly) of the latest year • Name list of foreign workers in the company (name, nationality, position) • Copy of identity card (for Thai national) or passport and work permit (for foreigners) of the Board of Directors or authorised managing director who signed the company’s documents Remarks: Copies of company documents must be signed by the Board of Directors or authorised managing director and affixed seal of company on all pages. |
