1. Full Name

• DO NOT misspell your own name
• DO NOT leave out some parts of the full name
• DO NOT use special characters (ú, ü, ó, ő, á, é, etc.). Only use English alphabet.
• DO NOT use your Birth Name if you have changed your name.
• DO NOT use – (dash) or N/A or X or anything else to indicate that you do not have a middle name. Just leave that field blank.
• DO NOT fill in an online application form with a different name from that on the passport
  • If you have multiple middle names on other identification documents, please enter only the middle name(s) exactly as shown on your passport.
  • Example: if your full name is Rozalia Irma Handra, please fill in the entire name:
    • First name: Rozalia
    • Middle Name: Irma
    • Surname: Handra
    • If your first name is Rozalia, you have to fill in Rozalia, NOT Rozi. Please stick to the details in your passport that are used to apply for an e-Visa.
• DO NOT fill in your first name and middle name in the same field.
• DO NOT miss out a space when there is space.
• DO NOT fill in any initial(s).

• Simple mistake(s) could lead to rejection of your application. The fee will NOT be refunded in any case.
• The Embassy CANNOT edit your personal details for you.
• With a wrong full name, even if the Embassy had granted you a visa, you would likely encounter difficulty at the immigration checkpoint when you enter Thailand.

• Fill in your name and title exactly as appears in your passport and check if it is correctly spelled.
• Be mindful to fill in your first name, middle name, and family name (surname) in the correct field.

2. Passport: Number or Alphabet?

• BE CAREFUL not to confuse:
  • 0 [zero] and O [Olaf]
  • 8 [eight] and B [Benedek]
  • 5 [five] and S [Szilvia]
• DO NOT fill in the date of issue and the date of expiry incorrectly.

3. Supporting Documents

• ONLY SUBMIT requested or indicated document(s) in the application.
• DO NOT submit financial evidence showing an unreasonable or balance for your stay.
  • For a tourist visa, the recommended minimum balance is approximately 1,000 EUR per 30 days of stay in Thailand.
  • Do not omit any required supporting documents.

5. Photograph

• DO NOT use a selfie photo, unless it is an additional request from the Embassy. Only use appropriate photos.
• DO NOT use blurred photos
