On 6 May 2026, Mr. Wajanai Snidvongs Na Ayudhya, Chargé d'Affaires, a.i., and Ms. Phanomkwan Devahastin Na Ayudhaya, Consellor, led consular staff to visit 26 Thai workers at the Nemeskert vegetable farm and 20 Thai workers at Mrs. Halasz Anita’s vegetable farm near Szeged, Hungary. This visit was accompanied by Ms. Kalong Sudsang, a respected leader in the Thai community in Szeged.

During the visit, Embassy officials enquired about Thai workers’ well-being and living conditions, offered consular guidance, shared the Embassy’s communication channels, and toured both the workplaces and accommodations at the two farms.
