On 9 July 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest organised the third mobile consular service of 2026 in Budva, Montenegro. Around 20 Thai nationals in Montenegro received services such as passport service, document legalisation and consular consultation.

On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Phrommes Bhaholpolbhayuhasena, Ambassador of Thailand to Montenegro (Residence in Budapest), highlighted the Embassy’s role in providing support and services to Thai nationals residing in Hungary and countries within its jurisdiction, and emphasized the importance of strengthening and empowering the Thai community abroad. The Ambassador and Ms. Phanomkwan Devahastin Na Ayudhaya, Counsellor/Consul, also provided consular guidance, as well as giving the opportunity for Thai community in Montenegro to discuss experiences, opportunities, and challenges of living and doing businesses in Montenegro.
