On 20 April 2022, Ambassador Nipon Petchpornprapas met with Dr. András Baranyi, Deputy State Secretariate for Development of Eastern Relations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary. During the meeting, which was also attended by Minister Counselor Pilanya Niyomthai and Counselor Donlada Thongboon, both sides exchanged views on ways and means to strengthen Thailand-Hungary relations, including the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the establishment of the Thai - Hungarian diplomatic ties in 2023 as well as the promotion of bilateral mechanisms in various areas of cooperation
