On 16 March 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest hosted a visit by the House of European Affairs and Diplomacy (HEAD) from Corvinus University of Budapest. During the visit, H.E. Mr. Phrommes Bhaholpolbhayuhasena, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Hungary, gave the welcoming remarks and led a briefing by officials of the Royal Thai Embassy on Thailand’s key foreign policy priorities, the Embassy’s operations, as well as general information on the bilateral relations between Thailand, Hungary and the Western Balkan countries. The briefing was followed by a Q&A session. Furthermore, the Embassy provided participants with traditional Thai snacks and beverages, including Sakhu Sai Moo (tapioca balls with pork filling), deep-fried spring rolls, and lime juice with butterfly pea in order to promote Thai gastronomy.
