On 10 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Phrommes Bhaholpolbhayuhasena, Ambassador of Thailand to Hungary, presided over a Buddhist chanting ceremony at the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest. The ceremony was held in honour of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, on the occasion of Her Majesty’s Birthday Anniversary on 12 August 2026. The ceremony was presided over by two Buddhist monks from Wat Thai Rattanaprateep in Budapest. In attendance were officials and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy and members of Team Thailand, together with their spouses.
