On 7 November 2024, H.E. Mr. Phrommes Bhaholpolbhayuhasena, Ambassador of Thailand to Hungary, participated in the Thai-Hungarian Interfaith Dialogue at Dharma Gate Buddhist College, Budapest. Other panelists included (1) Prof. Dr. Phra Medhivajarapundit, Director of International Buddhist Studies College, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, (2) Mr. Gábor Karsai, Rector of Dharma Gate Buddhist College, (3) Mr. Tristan Azbej, Secretary of State for the Aid of Persecuted Christians, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, (4) Dr. Mark Érszegi, Special Advisor for Religion and Diplomacy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, (5) Dr. Tamás Kodácsy from Sárospataki Református Teológiai Akadémia, and (6) Dr. Máté Botos from Pázmány Péter Catholic University.
 
Prior to the meeting, on 6 November 2024, the Ambassador hosted a lunch for Prof. Dr. Phra Medhivajarapundit and monks from Watthairattanaprateep, Budapest, which was an opportunity to prepare for the aforementioned Interfaith Dialogue.
