On 8 December 2022, Ambassador Nipon Petchpornprapas welcomed Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), who visited Hungary under the “Amazing Thailand Roadshow to Hungary 2022” programme. On this occasion, both sides exchanged views and information on the promotion of Thailand’s tourism in Hungary.

On the same day, Ambassador Nipon witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Hungarian Tourism Agency, and later delivered a welcome speech at the Amazing Thailand Roadshow to Hungary 2022 event at Anantara New York Palace Budapest. The Roadshow aims to promote the new tourism campaign “Amazing New Chapters” and connect Thai and Hungarian tourism operators.
