On 16 June 2026, H.E. Mr. Phrommes Bhaholpolbhayuhasena, Ambassador of Thailand to Hungary, presided over a Buddhist merit-making ceremony on the occasion of the 99^th birthday of His Holiness Somdet Phra Ariyavongsagatayana, the Supreme Patriarch, at the chancery of the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest. In attendance were the officials, family members and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand in Budapest.
