On 13 October 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest together with Wat Thai Rattanaprateep orgnised a religious ceremony on the occasion of "Nawamintha Maharaj Day" in honour of His Late Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great Memorial Day on 13 October 2025, H.E. Mr. Phrommes Bhaholpolbhayuhasena, Ambassador of Thailand to Hungary led the Embassy staff, along with the Thai Community in Hungary, to perform merit-making ceremonies to express their gratitude and appreciation for the remarkable contributions of His Late Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great to Thailand and the Thai people, at Wat Thai Rattanaprateep temple. After that, the Royal Thai Embassy and the Thai Community in Hungary clean up the Temple’s garden as part of the Royal Volunteer Service.
