On 17 September 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest, together with Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency, Hungarian-Thai Chamber of Commerce, Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Embassy of Hungary in Bangkok, organised a business matching event at Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Budapest. The event was attended by more than 40 members of Thai and Hungarian private sectors.

On this occasion, the Royal Thai Embassy invited Mr. Paiboon Nalinthrangkurn, Chairman of Investment Analysts Association (Thailand) to give a presentation on opportunities for trade and investment in Thailand. During the opening ceremony, a Memorandum of Understanding was also signed between Hungarian-Thai Chamber of Commerce and Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
