On 7^th August 2023, Ambassador Nipon Petchpornprapas and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest attended the Buddhist Lent ceremony at Thai Rattanaprateep Temple, which was also joined by about 100 Thai Buddhists from Hungary and Austria.

On this occasion, Ambassador Petchpornprapas gave welcoming words to the Thai community members as well as Hungarians, who joined the event and expressed his appreciation to the Temple for organising the ceremony, which helps promote the Thai tradition and strengthen the unity of Thai community in Hungary.
