On 24 April 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest, in collaboration with the Thai Student Association in Hungary, participated in the second edition of Cultural Connection Day, hosted by Eötvös Loránd University Students’ Union (EHÖK) and International Student Advisory Committee (ISAC) at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. The Embassy set up a booth to promote tourism in Thailand and offer fun activities – writing names in Thai on bookmarks and giving out Thai-style sak yant (tattoo) designs. A traditional Thai dance was performed on stage. The event featured booths from 25 different embassies and organizations, and many students and visitors took part throughout the day. It was a valuable opportunity to share Thai culture with the international youth community.
