On 2 August 2025, six ASEAN Embassies residing in Budapest, including Thailand, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Viet Nam, organised ‘ASEAN Charity Bazaar’ to commemorate the 58th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) at the Embassy of Malaysia. H.E. Mr. István Jakab, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary, was the guest of honor. At this event, there were performances and booths selling products and food from each country for charity.
