On 23 April 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest, in collaboration with the Thai Student Association in Hungary, participated in the third edition of Cultural Connection Day, hosted by Eötvös Loránd University Students' Union (EHÖK) and International Student Advisory Committee (ISAC) at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. The Embassy set up a stand to promote tourism in Thailand and offer a workshop on traditional Thai fish weaving (Pla Tapian), while also serving samples of Pad Thai for visitors. A traditional Thai dance was also performed on the central stage.

The third edition of Cultural Connection Day featured stands from 27 embassies in Hungary and 15 organizations, and was attended by many students and visitors throughout the day. It was a good opportunity to share Thai culture with the international youth community.
