On 27 July 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest organized ceremonies to commemorate His Majesty the King’s birthday anniversary on 28 July 2026 at the Chancery of the Royal Thai Embassy. In attendance were officials and staff members of the Royal Thai Embassy, representatives of Team Thailand, and their spouses. The ceremonies are as follows:

1. H.E. Mr. Phrommes Bhaholpolbhayuhasena, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Hungary, paid homage before the portrait of His Majesty the King, led participants in the oath-taking ceremony.
2. The Ambassador presided over the candle-lighting and book-signing ceremonies.
3. The Ambassador presided over a merit-making ceremony on this auspicious occasion. The Embassy invited three Buddhist monks to perform the religious rites from Wat Thai Rattanaprateep in Budapest, Wat Buddhadamma in Graz, Austria, and Wat Srinagarindravararam, Canton of Solothurn, Switzerland.
