On 27 March 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest, led by Mr. Nopakhun Luichant, Minister Counsellor, along with consular staff, organised the first Consular Mobile Service of 2025 in Szeged, Hungary.

 

During this event, over 20 Thai nationals residing in Szeged and nearby towns received passport issuance services and document legalization. Moreover, the Minister Counsellor met with Ms. Kalong Sudsang, a respected leader in the Thai community in Szeged, and visited the flower and vegetable farms of Móra Zoltán ev., where several Thai workers are employed. He also discussed potential plans with the company senior executives regarding the recruitment of Thai workers.
