On 31 May 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest participated in the International Children’s Day 2026 held at Óbuda Island (Hajógyári-sziget), organised by the International Children’s Safety Service Foundation. The Thailand booth featured activities including dressing in Thai traditional costumes and taking photos in a Thai-style house setting, tasting of instant noodles from Thai President Foods (Hungary) Kft., as well as Thai cultural performances. The activities attracted strong interest from children and visitors throughout the day.

On this occasion, Mr. Péter Edvi, Founding President of the International Children’s Safety Service Foundation, visited the Thailand booth and was welcomed by H.E. Mr. Phrommes Bhaholpolbhayuhasena, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Hungary.
