On 14 May 2026, Mr. Wajanai Snidvongs Na Ayudhya, Chargé d'Affaires, a.i., attended a standing reception at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, hosted by H.E. Ms. Anita Orbán, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary.

During the reception, the Hungarian Government’s new policy directions and priorities were highlighted, emphasising an open and predictable foreign policy that is ready for dialogue, while also reaffirming that, in the new era of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, diplomacy, mutual respect, and cooperation will once again take center stage in Hungary’s foreign policy.
