On 30 May 2025, Mr. Nopakhun Luichant, Chargé d'affaires, along with embassy officials, welcomed the Naval War College Class 57, led by Rear Admiral Paitoon Sengcharoen, Director of the Naval Strategic Studies Centre. The delegation received a briefing at the Royal Thai Embassy on the embassy’s key activities, Thai-Hungarian relations, and engaged in a discussion exploring the potential for Thailand and the Royal Thai Navy to play a constructive role in the Western Balkans and Adriatic Sea region.
