On 31 January 2026, H.E. Mr. Phrommes Bhaholpolbhayuhasena, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Hungary, presided over the ceremony to mark the 100th day following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, at the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest. The ceremony included the chanting of Buddhist prayers by four monks from Wat Buddhavihara (Berlin), and Wat Thai Rattanaprateep (Budapest).

More than 50 participants attended the ceremony, including officials and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy, members of Team Thailand, their family members, and Thai community in Hungary. On this occasion, the Ambassador also delivered a message of condolence and paid tribute in remembrance of Her Majesty. At the end of the ceremony, participants joined a meditation session led by the monks.
