On 25 April 2025, Ambassador Phrommes Bhaholpolbhayuhasena, along with Royal Thai Embassy officials and Mr. Stjepan Ćurić, Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Thailand in Zagreb, visited the office of the Port of Rijeka Authority. The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Rajko Jurman, Head of Commercial and Operative Affairs, and Mr. Vojko Kocijan, Head of Department for Development and Projects, who gave a presentation on the ongoing infrastructure development projects, as well as development plans for 2035. The initiatives focus on enhancing the port’s capacity to handle merchant vessels, streamlining customs procedures, improving the efficiency of internal cargo operations, and strengthening regional distribution capabilities.
