On 1 May 2025, H.E. Mr. Phrommes Bhaholpolbhayuhasena, Ambassador of Thailand to Hungary, officials from the Royal Thai Embassy, and their families, participated in the Thai New Year celebration (Songkran) organised by Wat Thai Rattanaprateep, Budapest. The Ambassador presided over the ceremony and took this opportunity to present a donation of 280,000 forints to the Thai-Magyar Templom Buddhista Egyesulet in recognition of their support with the Embassy's consular work.
