In 2018, the Royal Thai Government is granting 60 scholarships for postgraduate studies under the Thailand International Postgraduate Programmme (TIPP). Eligible nationalities within the responsibility of the Embassy are Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republic of Kosovo.

Aiming at sharing Thailand’s best practices and experiences to the world, the scholarships are offered on a wide range of development-related topics under the four plus one themes. The highlighted theme is Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP), the key factor behind Thailand’s achievement of sustainable development in many areas. Other themes are areas in which Thailand’s best practices can help address global challenges, namely, food security, climate change, public health and other Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related topics.

Successful candidates will be offered full scholarship (economy round trip airfare, tuition fee, accommodation, allowances and insurance). Each eligible country is invited to nominate up to five (5) candidates per course and nominations must be submitted through diplomatic channel to the Royal Thai Embassy by 14 February 2018. 

Required documents are as follows:

1. Duly filled application form with photograph and signature of authorized person 

2. Medical report (use the form attached to the application form) 

3. Transcript with details of enrolled courses and grade result

4. Two letters of recommendation from two individuals

5. English test result (TOEFL or IELTS) that is no longer than 2 years old until the commencement of the applied course
